Top Seal is the latest innovative packaging by Koppert Cress. It is an appealing presentation on the shop floor, offering hygienic protection and longer shelf-life to the seemlingly vulnerable young micro-vegetables. Each tray has 8 Top Seals, each containing two cups of a single flavour.
Taste and usage
A number of the most popular cresses are available in the Top Seal. We refer to our website for the relevant information on how these different cresses can be used. Daikon Cress tends to keep growing, however this has no effect whatsoever on the storability of the product.

Availability and storage
The size of the Top Seal has been derived from the internationally used Gastro norm and therefore they can be perfectly used in the professional kitchen. The trays are easy to recognize and give ample information on flavour and use. Ventilation openings between the foil and the tray provide a perfect climate in which the cresses can easily be stored for several days.
Cresses can be distinguished in two groups, the ‘warm’ cresses which have to be stored at 12-16°C, and the rest which prefer to be stored at 2-4°C. The appropriate temperature is indicated on the top of the tray. The cresses packed in the Top Seal are, as all the Koppert Cress cresses and specialties, produced according to the SQF 2000 guidelines.
